Over an hour of hyper rowdy bashment and Caribbean rave music from Gabriel Heatwave alongside Rubi Dan on the mic. Sounded amazing on the bass heavy soundsystem at Elephant & Castle's Corsica Studios for a wicked night put together by promoters ManMakeMusic (London)b and Bruk (Bristol).
The night took place on the day that Boris Johnson's regrettable victory in the London mayoral elections was announced - towards the end of our set a couple of girls started pestering Rubi to get some anti-Boris chants going on, which was pretty memorable...
