Let It Billie (Billy Jungle)

Get the Flash Player to listen to this

Ragga jungle anthem released on our Scandal Bag label alongside a dancehall mix. Produced by DJ C (Mashit) featuring Quality Diamond on vocals.

In 2004, Boston-based producer DJ C turned heads all over the world with his ragga jungle version of Billie Jean. From the success of that tune and a handful of other storming releases on his Mashit label he bagged a Peel Session - and aired his exclusive vocal version of Billy Jungle for the first time.

While it's not easy taking on one of the most versioned tunes in dance music, when the needle drops on this re-rub it's clear that DJ C's ragga jungle styles offer an entirely fresh take on an all-time classic.
