Major Lazer @ Notting Hill Carnival

A carnival launch party for Switch and Diplo's new dancehall project Major Lazer. The two producers have been busy in Jamaica recording x-amount of Jamaican artists and their album is due to drop soon.

We played with Rubi Dan on the mic and plenty of whistles and horns in the crowd, plus there were DJ sets from Toddla T, Rusko and Mumdance a surprise appearance from Santogold and a PA by Jammer, Badness and Silverlink of their grime/soca tune The Message Is Love:

Later on that night was our second Immediate Sounds night playing Caribbean rave music with PAs from Ragga Twins and Warrior Queen - the perfect way to end the carnival weekend.
