What's a little bit odd about the prospect of a dancehall and bashment night in Holland Park? Well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that your typical Holland Park resident probably isn't overly au fait with the latest developments on the reggaeton scene and probably, though forgive me if I'm wrong, hasn't got down to some serious soca and ragga-suffused grinding on the dancefloor in a fair while. On closer inspection, however, the venue's actually more Shepherd's Bush than Holland Park, which reduces the prospect of Toby popping in off the street for a Margherita and having the shock of his life. Heatwave has been chugging along merrily in East London for some time, impressing and dazzling large, happy audiences with its energy and innovation. Let's see if west London takes equally kindly to DJs Gabriel and Master G's Caribbean-inspired masterclass.
